Inventory management software for your business

Appify Studio builds custom inventory management software for shops, distributors and workshops in Morocco and abroad: real-time stock in and out, stock counts, low-stock alerts and invoicing linked to stock. Price and timeline are set for your project, starting from your existing Excel files.

Situations we fix most often

  • “We discover stock-outs when the customer is already at the counter.”
  • “The stock in the Excel file never matches what is on the shelves.”
  • “Every stock count closes the shop for a day.”
  • “We don't know which items have been sitting in the back room for months.”
  • “The warehouse and the shop each have their own file.”

What your inventory software manages

Inventory management software records every movement of goods in and out, so you always know the quantity and value available per item and per location. Each movement is recorded when it happens, by the person who makes it, from a computer or a phone.

Real-time stock in and out

Supplier deliveries, sales, transfers and breakages update stock immediately, with who did it and when.

Several warehouses and shops

Stock per location, tracked transfers between sites and a consolidated view for management.

Low-stock alerts and reordering

A minimum level per item triggers an alert and prepares the supplier order for approval.

Stock counts from a phone

Rolling counts by zone with barcode scanning: the shop stays open while you count.

Batches, serial numbers and expiry dates

Traceability by batch or serial number and alerts before expiry, useful for pharmacies and food.

Stock valuation

Stock value at weighted average cost, or the method agreed with your accountant, at any time.

Inventory and invoicing in one tool

Stock and invoicing share the same products and customers: nothing is typed twice.

From quote to invoice

An accepted quote becomes a delivery note, then an invoice; stock goes down at delivery, not before.

Purchasing and receiving

Supplier orders, partial deliveries and delivery discrepancies are tracked through to payment.

Margin per item

Purchase price, sale price and real margin per item, per customer and per period.

Ready for e-invoicing

Invoices come out in the same format as our e-invoicing software.

Off-the-shelf or custom inventory software?

Both are valid. Here is how they compare.

Off-the-shelf inventory software compared with custom software
CriterionOff-the-shelf softwareCustom software
Getting startedFast if your processes match its modelAfter a design phase with you
Fit with your rulesLimited to the settings offeredComplete: units, batches, warehouses, approval flows
CostMonthly subscription, often per userUpfront investment, then maintenance
IntegrationsThose planned by the vendorPOS, online shop, ERP or accounting as needed

Our honest advice: if your stock management is simple and volumes are modest, off-the-shelf software is often enough. Custom software pays off when your business rules, warehouses or integrations go beyond the standard.

How we work, step by step

  1. 01

    Discovery

A visit or call with the people who manage stock: flow of goods, documents used, number of items and sites.

  2. 02

    Design

Entry and lookup screens approved with you, designed to be used standing up, in the warehouse, on a phone.

  3. 03

    Development

Development, import of your items and quantities from Excel, then testing with a real stock count.

  4. 04

    Launch

Roll-out site by site, team training and a supported opening stock count.

Frequently asked questions

Which inventory management software should I choose?

Choose based on three criteria: how many sites you manage, whether you need traceability such as batches and expiry dates, and which tools must connect, such as POS, invoicing or an online shop. For simple needs, off-the-shelf software is enough; beyond the standard, custom software avoids Excel workarounds.

How much does inventory management software cost?

At Appify Studio, custom inventory software is priced on quote. The price depends on the number of items and rises with the number of warehouses, batch or serial-number traceability and integrations. You receive a fixed quote after the discovery phase, with any yearly hosting costs listed separately.

Can a phone be used as a barcode scanner?

Yes. The app uses the phone camera to scan barcodes and QR codes, which is enough for stock counts and deliveries. For high volumes at the counter we connect a dedicated scanner, which is faster. Both can work side by side in the same system.

Can we import our stock from Excel?

Yes. We import your items, references, prices and quantities from Excel or your old software's export. Duplicates and inconsistent references are flagged before import, so you start with clean stock, and an import report shows exactly what was taken over.

Does the software work without an internet connection?

The mobile app can work offline: movements are saved on the phone and synchronised as soon as the connection comes back. That is useful in warehouses or poorly covered areas. In the office, the web version stays the reference, always up to date.

How long does it take to set up inventory software?

The time from discovery to go-live for a first site is set after discovery. Rolling out to other sites is faster, because items and rules are already in place. We schedule the go-live outside your peak periods so it does not disrupt sales. Your team is trained before the first live day.
