Privacy Policy

Appify Studio ("we", "our", or "us") built FrameSend: Offline QR Sharing as a commercial iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Appify Studio does not collect personal information or usage data through FrameSend. The app does not require you to create an account and does not use developer-operated servers to transfer your content.

Content you choose to send or receive—such as text, links, or files—is handled locally on the participating devices. It is not transmitted to Appify Studio.

2. How Offline QR Sharing Works

• Sending: Content you select is processed on your device and represented as one or more QR code frames for another device to scan.
• Receiving: QR code frames captured by the camera are processed on your device to reconstruct the shared content.
• No cloud transfer: Shared content is not uploaded to, routed through, or stored on servers operated by Appify Studio.
• No account: You do not need to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address, or phone number.

Anyone who can view and successfully scan the QR codes may be able to receive the content. Only display QR codes to people and devices you trust.

3. Device Permissions

FrameSend may request the following permissions only when needed for a feature you choose to use:

• Camera: Used to scan QR code frames. Camera input is processed locally and is not sent to Appify Studio.
• Files: The iOS document picker may be used so you can choose content to send or choose where to save received content. FrameSend only receives access to items you explicitly select or locations you authorize through iOS.

You can manage camera access at any time in iOS Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

4. Local Data and Retention

Transfer content and app preferences remain on your device. Received content is saved only when and where you choose. Temporary data needed to complete an active transfer is processed locally and is not retained by Appify Studio. You can remove saved files using the Files app and remove the app and its locally stored data by deleting FrameSend from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

FrameSend does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. Apple may independently process limited information when you download, purchase, update, or interact with the app through Apple services, including the App Store and Apple-provided diagnostics. That processing is controlled by Apple and is governed by Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.

6. Tracking, Advertising, and Data Sales

FrameSend does not track you across apps or websites, display third-party advertising, sell personal information, or share personal information for targeted advertising. The app does not request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not perform tracking.

7. Children's Privacy

FrameSend does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Appify Studio does not collect personal data through the app, we do not maintain information that identifies a child's use of FrameSend. Parents and guardians should supervise the content children choose to share.

8. Security

FrameSend reduces exposure by processing transfers locally and not sending shared content to our servers. However, no method of storing or displaying information is completely secure. Protect your device, verify the receiving device, and avoid displaying sensitive QR codes where unauthorized people or cameras can see them.

9. Your Privacy Choices

• Choose which content to send and where received content is saved
• Stop a transfer before it is completed
• Revoke camera permission in iOS Settings
• Delete received files from your device
• Delete FrameSend to remove its locally stored app data

Because Appify Studio does not collect or maintain personal data through FrameSend, we generally have no app data linked to you to access, correct, export, or delete.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will apply from the date stated in the updated policy.
